Set amongst the ruins of the ancient region of AlUla, home to lost civilizations and countless centuries of discovery and inventiveness, Azimuth is a feature film and music experience that tells the unfolding story of human enlightenment and our entanglement with technology. The story of Azimuth is universally human, and unfolds in four dimensions on-screen, and on stage.
Music
The Azimuth music program will tell the story of Hegra and AlUla, a region steeped in the history of ancient cosmology and mathematics — universal human languages at the core of modern music. Together with a global line-up of musicians will come together on stage to celebrate the rising and falling of the Sun, uniting the east and the west in an unprecedented musical arts project.
Food
Azimuth food and beverage program will comprise of A-list world-class chefs creating and serving gastronomic experience. World-renowned chefs Alex Atala and more will be serving up unique experiences, designed to reflect the kaleidoscopic diversity of the spice trail and all that represented throughout AlUla's rich history. Custom beverages designed by Mr Lyan Studio will be served throughout the event.
Art
Azimuth will bring together multiple art experiences, including Desert X AlUla, an exhibition including site specific installations with in the landscape. Azimuth has also commissioned some cutting edge installation artists from across the Eastern and Western worlds, to create a visual spectacular in AlUla's desert oasis. All works will stay throughout the festival, for our guests to take in as and when they please.
